State-level apostilles

Most state apostille offices process requests in one to three weeks by mail. Some states offer walk-in or expedited service. We share current timing when we quote your project.

Federal apostilles

The U.S. Department of State has historically taken longer than most state offices — often four to eight weeks — though this fluctuates.

How we speed things up

For local requests we can hand-deliver documents to the PA and NJ apostille offices when timing is tight. We also help you avoid do-overs by reviewing documents up front.

When to start

Start as early as you can. Foreign consulates and employers often want the apostille within a specific window before submission.
